As busy Manchester wedding photographers, we’re lucky enough to frequently capture wedding photography at Grosvenor Pulford Hotel. So, Nia and Riccardo chose the perfect location for their winter wedding in Chester.
Grosvenor Pulford Hotel is a privately owned four-star hotel and luxury spa and also a Cheshire wedding venue. Dating back to the 18th century, Grosvenor Pulford has a rich history and was once owned by the Duke of Westminster. Today it has been extensively renovated whilst retaining many of its original features, seamlessly blending old world charm with modern luxury to create an amazing Chester wedding venue.
Firstly, Nia looked stunning in a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a beautiful ballgown layered skirt that gave her a fairy-tale look and an amazing silhouette in all of our images and film. Secondly, Riccardo and his grooms party looked very smart in traditional black tie.
Finally, after a beautiful ceremony, everybody enjoyed a drinks reception. And with guests happily catered for, we took our chance to whisk Nia and Riccardo away for a few minutes for a mini photoshoot around the hotel’s gardens.

One of the many things we love about capturing Chester wedding photography at Grosvenor Pulford, are the beautiful gardens. They provide endless stunning backdrops for wedding photos and film. Nia and Riccardo were so easy going to work with and we got some great images. And the image of them walking over a pretty bridge, was one of my favourites of the day. Here, take a look!
Grosvenor Pulford’s Grosvenor Suite, a gorgeous event space with beautifully draped walls and state of the art lighting, creating the perfect ambience for a winter wedding.
So, everybody enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast prepared by Grosvenor Pulford’s in-house team of talented chefs, and there were some very well received speeches by Nia’s dad, Riccardo and his best man.
Evening celebrations started with a romantic first dance for Nia and Riccardo on an LED star lit dance floor. And these guys weren’t alone on the dance floor for long as their guests were definitely up for a party. And with music, a fun casino which proved to be very popular with their guests, and tasty evening treats, they had everything they needed for a great evening wedding celebration. We took our chance to capture some great candid images of everybody enjoying themselves.
